AC Milan move matured me, claims Juventus defender Bonucci
Juventus’s Italian quarterback Leonardo Bonucci has said his move to Milan had helped him become more mature.
The Italian quarterback had shocked them all the summer of 2017 when he moved from Juventus to Milan. Just a year later, the summer of 2018, he returned to Juventus.
However, some Juventus fans did not forgive Bonucci for the way he celebrated a goal against Juventus while he was part of the Milan squad. However, Bonucci has now shown how that transfer helped him in his career.
“If I went back to Leonardo two or three years ago, I wouldn’t have made certain decisions. The decision to go to Milan, as everyone knows, made me more mature. It was a great opportunity and a great opportunity for me at the time,” Bonucci said.
“The young Leonardo was very ardent. When you meet someone who gives you good advice, at your best, you have to have the humility to listen to them.”
The Italian also revealed that his style of play was heavily influenced by a legendary former Milan defender.
“I’ve watched a lot of Alessandro Nesta videos since he had similar features to me. I studied it carefully and applied those things to myself,” Bonucci added.
