Aguero will join Barcelona
Striker Sergio Aguero is expected to be Barcelona’s first reinforcement in the summer transfer window.
Spanish media reported on Thursday that Aguero has in principle reached an agreement with Barcelona and will join the Spanish team as a free agent after the end of this edition when his contract with Manchester City expires.
With his transfer to Barcelona, Aguero will return to Spain after a decade at Manchester City, with which team has won four English championships.
The 32-year-old striker has been plagued by injuries this season and has recorded nine appearances so far, scoring two goals in all competitions for City.
He was transferred to the English team in the summer of 2011 from Atletico Madrid for 45 million euros in compensation.
