Arsenal plan Ancelotti talks after Napoli sacking
Arsenal will start negotiations with Carlo Ancelotti soon after the Italian was dismissed from the post of coach of the Italian club on Tuesday evening.
The London club are looking for a permanent coach after the dismissal of Unai Emeryt two weeks ago. For the time being, temporarily, the job of the coach is the legend of the club, Freddie Ljunberg.
Many names have been mentioned as potential candidates for Arsenal coach, but Ancelotti is one of the favorites, especially after his dismissal from Napoli last night.
The 60-year-old could be tempted by the prospect of moving to England after he had a successful spell there with Chelsea.
Despite Everton’s interest in Ancelotti, international football website Goal.com reports that Arsenal are already planning negotiations with the Italian.
After Chelsea, he continued his career with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, before joining Napoli in May 2018 to replace Maurizio Sarri.
