Barcelona dreams of another impossible overturn to PSG

Barcelona will hope that tonight the story will be repeated against Paris Saint-Germain, making a similar return almost impossible to the Parisians as in 2017.

Barcelona traveled to Paris for the return match of the 1/8 finals on Wednesday, aware that they have to cross a mountain to reach the quarterfinals.

Coach Ronald Koeman’s team lost the first game 4: 1 at the Camp Nou thanks to a hat-trick by Kylian Mbappe.

Therefore, Barca must score at least four goals to have any chance to advance in this competition.

The Catalans had achieved a historic comeback against PSG in the 2016/17 season, with the deepest result in the Champions League so far, winning 6: 1 the return match of the 1/8 finals, after the first match they had lost 4: 0 on the trip.

Dutch coach Koeman hopes the story can be repeated tonight.

“They were killers in front of our gate in the first match and we have to be like that in this match. We are a team that can always create chances. “If we are effective in front of the gate, nothing is impossible,” Koeman said.

PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino will not be able to count on Neymar in this match either, and he will also miss Moise Kean.

Barca will also face some significant absences, such as Philippe Coutinho, Sergi Roberto and Gerard Pique, while Ronald Araujo is in great doubt.
