Barcelona presidential candidate: Messi deserves every euro in his contract
The football world has discussed El Mundo’s exclusive report regarding Lionel Messi’s contract with Barcelona.
Now even the candidate for president of the club, Victor Font has said his word.
He believes that the Argentine deserves to receive 555,237,619 euros in his contract.
“Messi deserved every last euro paid to him by Barcelona.” Font wrote on Twitter.
“He did not destroy us. On the contrary, he is the best player in history and we want him to stay with us forever.”
Barcelona issued a press release a few minutes earlier stating that they would take legal action against El Mundo.
