Barcelona’s dramatic victory, qualifies for the semifinals of the King’s Cup

Barcelona has barely qualified for the Copa del Rey semi-finals. The Catalans were at a 2-0 disadvantage until the 88th minute of the match but they managed to equalize and send the match into extra time. After the extra time, Barcelona won 3-5, where they managed to score 3 goals.

Barcelona has qualified for the semi-finals of the King’s Cup after struggling to eleminate Granada.

The first half was much better for Granada as they managed to score as early as the 33rd minute where Kenedy scored.

This part ends with this minimal 1-0 advantage.

In the second half, Granada would score again very soon.

Their goal came in the 47th minute where veteran striker Roberto Soldado scored.

After conceding the second goal Barcelona was very good and constantly put pressure.

The pressure paid off and Barcelona would score the first goal in the 88th minute.

It was an own goal that was scored as a result of pressure from Messi and Griezmann.

Barcelona managed to equalize the score in the second extra minute of the match where Jordi Alba scored.

After the draw, two more extras will be played for 15 minutes.

In the sequel Barcelona started the engines and managed to score three more goals. In the 100th minute of the match a goal for Barcelona would be scored by Griezman where Jordi Alba would score a goal.

However, Granada would be back in the game again where they would equalize in the 103rd minute where Fede would score from the penalty spot.

However, Barcelona would continue the pressure and scored the fourth goal in the 108th minute where the scorer was Franky de Jong.

Jordi Alba would seal the fate of this meeting by scoring in the 113th minute.

This victory sends the Barcelona team to the semifinals.
