Chelsea is ashamed at home by West Brom
Chelsea lost 2-5 to West Bromwich Albion at Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel’s team failed to avoid the first loss after 16 games in a row.
The match started well for the hosts.
Christian Pulisic was the one who gave the locals the lead, in the 27th minute he scored for 1-0.
However, Thiago Silva’s red card changed everything that made the WBA reverse the score.
In the 29th minute, Silva got the second yellow card to be excluded from the game.
WBA took advantage of the numerical advantage on the field that with Matheus Pereira managed to score two goals at the end of the first half 45 +2′ and 45 +4′.
Thomas Tuchel with the start of the second half brought in Mason Mount and Andreas Christensen, removed Ziyech and Pulisic.
This did not change much, as the guests scored two quick goals.
Callum Robinson scored for 1-3 in the 63rd minute and Mbaye Diagne for 1-4.
The locals reacted for 2-4 with Pulisic’s goal, but in the 90th minute Callum Robinson scored for the result 2-5.
Chelsea now risk losing the fourth position, which sends them to the Champions League.
