Chelsea move for Ziyech confirmed by Ajax boss
Ajax have announced that they have reached an agreement to sell winger Hakim Ziyech to Chelsea at the end of this season.
Frank Lampard’s team will pay 40 million euros for the Dutch-born Moroccan representative.
This amount will increase to 44 million euros depending on the player’s bonus achievement.
The deal has also been confirmed by Chelsea.
But the 26-year-old has yet to come to terms with the blue on personal terms, but will have plenty of time to do so by the end of the season.
“Ajax and Chelsea have reached agreement on the transfer of Hakim Ziyech,” the Dutch club said in a statement.
“The player will join the club from the Premier League on 1 July 2020 and end the season in Amsterdam,” the statement said.
