Thomas Tuchel days ago was officially made in charge of Chelsea as the new coach of the club.
The German coach made his debut on the London bench in the 0-0 draw against Wolverhampton.
With the arrival of Tuchel in the team, the Brazilian midfielder with an Italian passport Jorginho returned to the starting lineup.
English media have reported that Tuchel has informed the club to extend the contracts of two players, Jorginho and Thiago Silva.
The midfielder of the Italian National Team has a contract with Chelsea until 2023, while he is expected to extend it for another year.
The same fate awaits the defense veteran, Thiago Silva.
The 36-year-old has a contract with the club until the summer, but is expected to continue for another year.
It is worth noting that Tuchel has informed the club management that the first two transfers should be David Alaba and Erling Haaland
