De Bruyne after renewing his contract with Man City: I can not be happier

Kevin de Bruyne is seen very happy after renewing his contract with Manchester City for the next four years.

Manchester City have confirmed that De Bruyne has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Etihad until 2025 and that has made the Belgian happy.

“I could not be happier, since I joined City in 2015, I felt at home. I love the fans, my family is based here in Manchester and my game is really good,” said De Bruyne.

“This football club is prepared for success. It offers me everything I need to maximize my performance, so signing this contract was a direct decision. I am playing the best football of my career and I honestly feel it has yet to come.”

“Pep and I see football the same way. Having that relationship with a manager is so important to me because our goals are completely aligned and we want the same things.”

“My focus now is to ensure that we have a successful end to the current season. Our results and performances so far have been excellent, but we have to make sure we finish the season with the trophies we deserve,” concluded the Belgian star.

Otherwise, De Bruyne joined City from Wolfsburg in August 2015 for 55 million, winning two Premier League trophies, four League Cups and an FA Cup.

In fact, the 29-year-old has 77 assists from 176 appearances in the Premier League, while during his career at City so far he has played 255 games, scoring 65 goals and making 105 assists.
