Emre Can set for Dortmund after Juventus agree loan-to-buy deal
Germany of Turkish origin Emre Can is back in the Bundesliga after failing at Juventus
Juventus midfielder Emre Can is expected to undergo medical tests on Friday after the two clubs have agreed a loan commitment of 30m euros by the end of the season.
The 26-year-old wants to play regular football in the second half of the season in order to secure an invitation from Germany for the European Championship.
Can moved to Turin 18 months ago as a free transfer from Liverpool. He made 37 appearances in all competitions during the 2018/19 season, helping Juventus win Serie A and the Italian Super Cup.
However, he was not Maurizio Sarri’s favorite since the start of the season, failing to compete with Miralem Pjanic, Rodrigo Bentancur, Adrien Rabiot and Blaise Matuidi.
He made only eight Serie A appearances and was not included in the Juventus Champions League squad made up of 25 players.
