Everyone fascinated after Haaland, even the side judge asks for an autograph
Erling Braut Haaland has become such a big star that even the judges have started asking for his autograph.
After Borussia Dortmund lost 2: 1 against Manchester City in the first quarterfinal match of the Champions League, one of the Russian side referees followed Haaland to the tunnel of the Etihad Stadium, with the flag under his arm.
The Russian winger persuaded the Norwegian star to give him his autograph on a yellow card which he took out of his pocket.
But the Russian referee’s action was criticized by BT Sport sports analyst and former English midfielder Owen Hargreaves.
“He should not do that. The judges had a lot of work to do in a difficult first half. They erred in many things. You can be a fan of one player but you can’t do that in front of other players, it doesn’t look right.” said Hargreaves.
