Germany suffers, but wins against Romania
Germany has triumphed as a guest of Romania with a score of 1-0 in the framework of the qualifications for the World Cup to be held in Qatar in 2022.
The Germans started the match better, scoring after just 17 minutes of play through Serge Gnabry who was assisted by Kai Havertz.
The visiting team did not stop there and asked to score more goals.
But, the players of Joachim Low did not manage to concretize the cases, going to the break of the first half with only this goal.
In the second 45 minutes, it was again Germany that dominated with possession and the chances created.
Timo Werner had some good scoring chances, but the Chelsea member lacked concretization.
Gnabry and Ilkay Gundogan also had good chances, but even they failed to beat the Romanian goalkeeper for the second time.
Germany is the leader of Group J with six points, as are Armenia, Northern Macedonia and Romania with three, while Iceland and Liechtenstein are still without points.
