Guardiola: In the first half we were not good, we go for victory in Germany
Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola is not happy with his team, especially in the first half against Borussia Dortmund in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
Although he won 2-1 with a goal in the last minute of regular time from Phil Foden, Guardiola has said he will go for victory in Germany.
“We will go to Dortmund to win the game. In the first half tonight we were not good when we owned the ball.”
“The second half was significantly better and we had two or three clear chances to score the second and third goal when the result was 1-0. “We have another chance next week.”
“Borussia Dortmund is a typical team in the Champions League. It has played in this race for a long time and knows how to present herself here. But we are going to Germany to score,” Guardiola said after the match.
