Ibrahimovic: I did not speak to Galliani anymore because he sent me to PSG

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he did not speak to Adriano Galliani after Milan sold him to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2012.

The 39-year-old striker spoke to RAI TV and revealed that he is open to extend his contract with Milan for the next season.

He also talked about his career in general, more precisely about the transfer from Milan to PSG in 2012 and the connections he has with the former chief executive of Milan, Adriano Galliani.

“I love Galliani. We have a special relationship. I was not happy in my last few months in Barcelona and he brought me to Milan where my smile returned. I call that boss,” said the Swede.

“At the end of the 2011/12 season we had a meeting with him and I told him not to call me all summer because I knew he would send me to another club.”

“Everything went well until two days before the start of the pre-season preparations. Galliani called me and I thought I was asking how I was and how I felt.”

“But he sent me to PSG instead of doing it. In the end, I felt good in Paris, but I did not speak to Galliani for several months.” he said.
