Inter hope Icardi returns to Serie A
Former Inter captain Mauro Icardi is reportedly set to return to Serie A this summer, a move that could eventually help the Nerazzurri financially.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are still interested in the striker, with Roma and Napoli also checking the player’s availability for a return to Italy.
The newspaper then reveals that Inter director Beppe Marotta has inserted a clause in the agreement with PSG that could be activated this year.
The report claims that a return to Serie A would lead to the payment of a bonus of 15 million euros, as Marotta wanted to avoid Paris being just a ‘springboard’ before a transfer to Juventus.
A possible farewell to Icardi has been reported in recent months and the paper points out that the Premier League could also be a destination.
The price of Icardi is around 50 million euros.
