Juventus star: We still have a chance to win the title
Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur believes that Juventus still have a chance to win the Serie A title, although they are 12 points behind leader and rival Inter, eight games until the end of the championship.
The Whites won three crucial points with a 3-1 win over Genoa on Sunday, but the Uruguayan midfielder acknowledged that the team’s level of play fell in the second half.
Juventus remains in third place now with 62 points, just one less than Milan and 12 less than leader Inter.
Atalanta follows with 61 points, while Napoli is fifth with 59 points in a tough race.
“It will be an important match against Atalanta, a difficult challenge. Atalanta wants to qualify for the Champions League.” said Bentancur.
“We have to keep winning every game in order to reach the maximum at the end of the season… in any case, even for the title, it is mathematically achievable for us,” he added.
