Klopp: I’m Proud Of Liverpool’s ‘Sensational’ Maiden Club World Cup Win
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has said he feels good about winning the Club World Cup for the first time in red history.
The German coach – who once lost seven consecutive finals – has won the Champions League, European Super Cup and Club World Cup this year.
Liverpool won the Club World Cup for the first time in history beating Flamengo 1-0 in overtime, with a goal by Roberto Firmino.
“At the moment they have to think of a great night for us, the club and everyone who is here with us,” Klopp said.
“Tonight we could do no more than win this match, win the Club World Cup for the first time for this wonderful club,” he added.
“I’m very proud of guys,” he said.
