Koeman’s future is confirmed, after the meeting with the president of Barcelona
Ronald Koeman will remain Barcelona coach next season, after receiving support from the club’s new president, Joan Laporta.
Koeman and Laporta met for the first time since the latter returned to the post of head of the Catalan club.
Their meeting took place on Tuesday and the Dutch coach was announced that he will be on the Barca bench in the 2021/22 season.
Spanish media reported that the meeting between them went very well and that the meeting was informal.
Ronald made clear to Laporta his desire to remain Barcelona coach.
The request of the Dutchman in this meeting was to say the last word in the purchase of new players in the future.
