Laporta agrees with Mendes, Ansu Fati deserves more
Barcelona require a great center-forward, but there are other important issues to resolve in the squad.
Ansu Fati has a contract until the summer of next year and the club claims it could unilaterally extend the deal for another two years.
Meanwhile, talent agent Jorge Mendes denies this and claims that the end of Fati’s contract is the summer of 2022.
In these conditions Barcelona does not want a break of relations with the talent, but is working for the best solution.
Mundo Deportivo reports that President Laporta has instructed the club’s management staff to prepare a new contract for Fati, which will expire in the summer of 2026, thus closing any dispute with Mendes.
