Leonardo: We’re happy with Icard, in the end he decides!
Paris Saint Germain manager Leonardo spoke with superlatives about Argentine striker Mauro Icardi.
He is making regular appearances with the French squad, where he has become an undisputed quarterback in the Thomas Tuchel lineup.
Leonardo praised the quick adaptation of the former Inter captain, who has been transferred to Paris on a loan-purchase formula, while the Brazilian spoke about the details of the final purchase.
“Mauro has adapted very quickly, is playing well and scoring regularly. He’s a guy who sacrifices and works hard on the field to be in the right position. His final purchase is up to him, but I believe there is time until the end of the season, ”Leonardo said.
Icardi has played 16 games in all competitions for PSG so far in the 2019/20 season.
He has scored 13 goals and assisted twice for teammates.
