Levante ruined Barcelona’s math for the La Liga title
Levante has been shown to be a strong nut for Barcelona tonight after it managed to turn the score around twice to equalize in the end. Messi (25′), Pedri (34′) and Dembele (64′) scored for Barcelona while for Levante Melero (57′), Morales (59′) and Leon (83′) for Levante
Barcelona stumbled tonight against Levante, drawing 3-3, to take a step back for the La Liga title.
The Catalans started this match very well, taking the lead in the 25th minute.
Lionel Messi scored a beautiful goal for Barcelona’s first lead in this match.
Dembele and Pedri were the creators of the second goal where Pedri would score in the 34th minute of the match for 0-2, with which the result ends the first half.
In the second half Levante would be back in the game.
Initially Melero (57) and Morales (59) would equalize the score by scoring two goals in two minutes at the gate of ter Stegen.
However, Barcelona would return to the game by scoring in the 64th minute through Dembele.
But, when Barcelona was expected to win this match, the locals reacted to equalize the result to 3-3.
It was Sergio Leon who after receiving a ball from Tono equalized the score in the 84th minute of the match.
Messi and his friends tried to regain the lead but this was impossible and thus complicates the chances for the champion title.
After the draw Barcelona is in second place with 76 points, one less than Atletico and one more than Real Madrid but that both teams from Madrid have a less developed match.
