Lewandowski returns to training, will he play against PSG?
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski returned to training on Monday, two weeks after injuring his knee ligaments in a match for the Polish national team.
The 32-year-old did fast running and some exercises with the ball in an individual training session on Monday.
He scored two goals in Poland’s 3-0 win over Andorra in a Group I qualifier for the 2022 World Cup on March 28, but was forced to leave the field in the 63rd minute.
Initially, he was told he would be out for about a month and was unable to appear against RB Leipzig, Paris Saint-Germain and Union Berlin.
He has not traveled with Bayern to Paris for the quarter-final return match against PSG in the Champions League and will not be able to help the reigning champions reverse their 3-2 defeat at home.
