Liverpool will challenge Real Madrid for Mbappe until the end
English club Liverpool are said to be challenging Real Madrid until the end for the transfer of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe this summer.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is planning a major clean-up to help fund a move for Mbappe at the end of this season.
But, he will face the competition of Liverpool, where manager Jurgen Klopp enjoys a good relationship with the Mbappe family.
It is now coming to light this week that Klopp’s style of play and planning has given Mbappe a break from thinking, despite his admiration for Real coach Zinedine Zidane.
Without a contract in 2022, Mbappe admitted this week that his treatment by the local press could force him to leave Ligue 1.
“After a while, the criticism certainly gets tedious, especially when you play for a team from your country and give everything for your team as well,” Mbappe said.
Otherwise, the French star is estimated at around 200 million euros by the leaders of PSG.
