Man United will not allow Paul Pogba to leave club in January window
Manchester United are reportedly going to resist temptations to part ways with Paul Pogban during the January transfer window, even if the French midfielder himself demands the transfer.
French midfielder Paul Pogba has not played in 19 Manchester United matches this season due to an ankle injury, though he is still part of the English club’s squad.
The player who is wanted by Real Madrid and Juventus wants to leave Old Trafford, according to Spanish daily AS, as of January, after requesting a transfer in the summer before the current season began.
However, the Red Devils are prepared to resist any offer that may come to the French midfielder when the January deadline opens.
United are blocking Pogbas’s exit
Five months after agent Mino Raiola confirmed his client’s desire to leave the club, Manchester United are confident in their commitment to keeping the French star in their squad.
The 26-year-old has failed to secure a move away from Manchester United during the summer transfer window and the English club will make sure the former Juventus midfielder’s January attempt is the same.
Pogba has not played for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad since September due to an ankle injury and he will miss Wednesday’s clash with Colchester United in the Carabao Cup after falling ill.
Both Barcelona and La Liga champions Serie A, where Pogba has spent four seasons, have been rumored to be Pogba’s transfer, but Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane wants the Frenchman’s transfer the most.
