Man Utd ready to sell Pogba
Manchester United are ready to let French midfielder Paul Pogba leave for a lower price during the summer, after completing a deal to buy Bruno Fernandes.
Bruno Fernandes completed the 55m-euro transfer to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon on Thursday – signing a contract that would keep him at the club until 2025.
Manchester United were speculated on the 25-year-old’s transfer last summer, but Solskjaer’s need for a reinforcement in the midfield worsened in January, due to injury to Paul Pogba – Scott McTominay.
Bruno is seen as the perfect replacement for Paul Pogban, who has been demanding Manchester United’s departure for a long time.
Pogba has been under the radar of Real Madrid and Juventus since last summer, although he could not play as much this season as he would have because of an ankle injury that he had to undergo surgery.
Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has often criticized the club publicly and this has led club leaders and coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be willing to part ways with the World Cup winner with France.
As the 25-year-old Portuguese is seen as a direct substitute for Pogbas, the Red Devils are ready to cut the price they had set on the player, £ 150m, so the Frenchman could leave at the end of the season.
