Mbappe says ‘No’ to France for the Olympics

Kylian Mbappe has reportedly decided not to participate in the Olympics this summer in order to focus on what the future holds for his career at the club.

The striker has only one year left on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and is linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Mbappe, who is set to play for France at Euro 2020 in June and July, would be available for the Olympics because he is under 23 years old.

However, according to Le Parisien, the 22-year-old has told the French Football Federation that he will not be available for Tokyo 2020 in July and August because he wants to decide on PSG’s future.

Not only will Mbappe take this period to rest, but he could be crucial in choosing whether he wants to extend his stay at PSG or start a new challenge.

According to The Athletic, Mbappe has asked for 700,000 thousand euros per week if he will stay at the Parc des Princes with a new contract.
