Milan wins against Fiorentina, continues the pressure on Inter
Milan beat Fiorentina 3: 2 in a thriller match on Sunday, continuing the pressure on rival and leader of Serie A, Inter.
In a multi-turn match at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave Milan the lead after just nine minutes of play.
Eric Pulgar equalized for Fiorentina in the 17th minute, when he scored a super goal from a free kick.
Frank Ribery put the home side ahead for the first time in this match, scoring from close range in the 54th minute.
But just three minutes later, Brahim Diaz equalized for Milan by putting the ball into the net in the second post, after a corner kick.
Hakan Calhanoglu won this thriller match against Milan by scoring a quarter of a game before the end.
This victory of Stefano Pioli’s team comes after the loss against Napoli in the last match and is important for the red and blacks’ aspirations for the title.
Milan now collect 59 points after 28 games, six less than the leader and rival, Inter, and four more than Juventus in third place. However, the Reds have played one game more than their rivals.
Fiorentina, meanwhile, remain in 14th place with 29 points, seven away from relegation from Serie A.
