Mourinho: Real Madrid best experience, I was asked to be myself
Jose Mourinho has said his time at Real Madrid has been the best in his career.
The Portuguese strategist has run clubs such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter and Porto, but the Real Madrid era has chosen the best.
Mourinho had coached the European giant from 2010-2013, with no trophies missing.
“Real Madrid was my best experience because of what I learned as a coach, as a man, from the lessons I learned in my career and in my life.”
“Just the best memory of my career was fantastic.”
“The ones that asked me to Real were in my nature. I was told that I had the best team in the world as an opponent (Barcelona), that they were destroying us and the situation had to be turned around.
“Victory in the King’s Cup changed everything, and I then won the Super Cup and La Liga, but failed three times in the Champions League semifinal,” Mourinho said.
