New offer of Barca for Neymar

Barcelona remain committed to returning Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar to the Camp Nou and will make a new and improved offer in the summer of 2020.

The Brazilian was involved in a lengthy saga this summer, but PSG eventually turned down Barca’s offer, despite Neymar’s blatant desire to return to the former club.

However, Neymar has continued to make excellent performances since returning from injury in recent weeks, and, according to sources close to the club, Barca are ready to make it the club’s top priority again.

This summer, the Catalan giants have succeeded in reinforcing the team with stars like Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid and Frenkie de Jong of Ajax, but the summer of 2020 will focus entirely on Neymar.

It is learned that Barcelona hope to secure half of the € 222 million transfer fee through the sale of players.

Last summer, PSG sporting director Leonardo demanded 222m euros for Neymar, but it remains to be seen whether that amount will remain unchanged.

Neymar will be one year older and one year less on contract, though much may depend on his form in the knockout phase of the Champions League.
