Neymar makes no guarantees that he will stay at PSG
Neymar wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona over the summer but now says he is happy now playing football, though he offers no guarantee that he will stay in Paris in the future.
The transitional deadline for footballers was completely dominated by rumors about the Brazilian star’s future, after he had made it clear he was seeking a return to the Camp Nou.
But no agreement was reached and the 27-year-old was forced to move on to the Parc des Princes.
Neymar insists he is now all focused on PSG and is committed to winning more trophies in the 2019/20 season.
For him, being on the field is the most important thing at this stage of his career and his goal is to take advantage of every opportunity he has.
“Am I happy in Paris? I’m happy when I play football,” Neymar told RMC Sport after helping PSG beat Galatasaray 5-0 in the Champions League.
“What I like most is being on the field, it doesn’t matter where. I am happy where there are two poles, a ball and teammates,” he added.
