It’s already official.
The Spanish Football Federation has revealed the main referees for the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid on December 18 at the Camp Nou.
Alejandro Hernández Hernández, an experienced referee and already known by Barça and Real Madrid after having led many matches, will also serve justice in the next ‘El Clasicon’.
He has in the past referred to three ‘El Clasico’.
The first was in 2015/16, when Real defeated Barcelona 2-1 at the ‘Camp Nou’ Barcelona, ??a match that was widely talked about after Sergio Ramos was dismissed until Gareth Balet was denied a regular goal.
He then shared justice in the match at the Santiago Bernabeu, where Barça won 3-2 with a late goal, Ramo again being red-carded.
The other match commented was at the Camp Nou in a 2-2 draw, a challenge in which Marcelos was denied a penalty until Madrid got a goal because the referee did not stop the action though it was clearly seen that Suarez had made an unlawful interference.
Meanwhile, Judge Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea will head to the VAR chamber to respond to controversial cases within 90 minutes at the ‘Camp Nou’.
