Perez disappoints fans for Mbappe and Haaland

There is no Kylian Mbappe or Erling Haaland.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has put an end to the dreams of Madrid fans to have one of them in the team.

He says the pandemic has had its impact and that it is impossible for one of them to be bought in staggering numbers when clubs are suffering economically.

“In general, there will be no major transfers this summer. When the money of the big clubs does not go to the coffers of the poorest, everyone suffers,” he said.

According to Perez, the European Super League could have made it possible for them and many others to buy it, but that idea was extinguished after 48 hours.

“It is impossible to think about buying Mbappe and Haaland without the Super League and this does not only apply to Real. It is a general discourse. I think no one will kill themselves if Mbappé does not arrive next summer, the fans know we are doing our best and that if some things do not happen, it is because they are impossible.”

Mbappe has been Real’s big wish for a long time, but Paris Saint Germain transferred him in 2017 for 180 million euros and now they do not want to let him go.
