Perez remains president of Real Madrid until 2025
Florentino Perez will remain president of Real Madrid until 2025, after the deadline for the new presidential elections at the Madrid club expired at midnight on Monday.
As Perez was the only candidate nominated for this election, Real Madrid’s board of directors extended his term for another four years.
This will be his sixth term as president of the Spanish giant.
Among his main goals in the new term will be the approach of Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.
His term was extended 10 days after he reached 1,000 games as president of Real Madrid.
It is no wonder that under Perez, Real Madrid have won 47 titles (39 in the 2011-2020 decade alone), during which five Champions League trophies were singled out (three in a row).
