Pioli after Milan’s disappointing draw: We lacked quality
Milan coach Stefano Pioli has admitted that his team lacked the right quality and pace in another disappointing 1: 1 match with Udinese on Wednesday.
In fact, Milan were on the verge of losing but a very late goal by Franck Kessie from the penalty spot gave the Reds a point against a Udinese that ended the match with 10 players.
This draw gives the rival and leader, Inter, the opportunity to increase to six points the lead at the top of the table in Serie A.
“We wanted to win, what a pity. We knew it would be difficult against a team that plays in defense.” said Pioli.
“I saw commitment but a lack of clarity. We lacked quality and rhythm, but not anger and commitment.” he added.
