Pioli: We all believe in the title
The Italian championship enters the decisive phase of the season, as there are still 10 weeks left from the end, while in the Milan camp everyone still believes in the champion title, although they have 6 points less than the leading team, Inter.
Coach Stefano Pioli appeared in the usual press conference before the challenge with Sampdoria and admitted that the players are in good shape and confident to close the championship in the best way.
“Everyone is back in pretty good shape from the gathering and are optimistic about tomorrow’s challenge. I am very happy that everyone still believes in the champion title, but 10 very difficult challenges await us until the end”, said Pioli.
Three of the undisputed starters of the red and blacks are dealing with the negotiations for the renewal of their contract that expires at the end of the season, however this does not bother coach Pioli at all.
“Ibra, Calhanoglu and Donnarumma are very calm and maximally focused on the field of play. I am not worried, as the leaders are being hired to renew them. I’m interested in having them maximally available and I’m happy about that. We have to reach at least 75 points to be sure of a place in the Champions Zone.” said the Milan coach.
