Pique hopes to return and play in “El Clasico”
Gerard Pique has delighted Barcelona ahead of El Clasico with Real Madrid next week.
Pique, who has been out of action since the knee problem after inspiring Barca in a sensational comeback in the Copa del Rey against Sevilla, says he is working hard to get on the field as soon as possible.
“I will try to play against Real Madrid. We will see day by day,” said Pique.
“I will try to return as soon as possible.”
While Barcelona has hopes for the return of Pique, Real has lost Sergio Ramos.
He will be out for at least four weeks and will miss the challenges with Barca and in the Champions League with Liverpool.
