Pirlo announces the great absence of Juventus for the match against Porto
Andrea Pirlo announces that Matthijs de Ligt will not be available against Porto.
The Old Lady host Porto in the round of 16, the last of the Champions League after their 2-1 loss in Portugal.
“We need a very technical game. “We face a compact team, playing with two narrow lines,” Pirlo told a news conference.
“There will be little time and space to think. We will need a lot of technique, we have to have the patience to make them go from one part to another.” said Pirlo.
Matthijs de Ligt joined the team in training session this morning, but will not be available tomorrow.
“Everyone is feeling pretty good. De Ligt warmed up with the team this morning but trained separately from the group. The others are all available, not 100 % capable, but it is already a good thing to have them,” Pirlo said.
