Pochettino: “I will fight to the end for Mbappe”
Neymar has delighted PSG fans when he declared he is happy in Paris and his renewal with the French champions is just a formality.
The situation is different with Kylian Mbappe, who wants to try a new experience.
However, PSG do not give up and are trying to convince the world champion to sign a new contract, beyond the current one that ends on June 30, 2022.
Coach Mauricio Pochettino himself has spoken about Mbappe.
“Mbappe to Real Madrid? I will fight with all my energy to keep Kylian at PSG. The club is doing everything possible to keep Neymar and Mbappe on the team. I am optimistic that Mbappe will also stay in the team. Both are very engaged in the team”, the Argentine said for “El Largero”.
Mbappe has been part of PSG since 2017 when it was bought for 180 million euros by Monaco.
He has so far made 120 appearances with Paris, scoring 102 goals.
