“Pogba made the difference, we defeated a strong team”
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes that Paul Pogba made the difference at the San Siro in the match between Milan and Manchester United.
Pogba returned from injury after two months and joined the game in the second half, to score the only goal and the 1-0 victory at the San Siro.
Solskjaer can not be unhappy about Pogba’s return and victory over Milan.
“It is fantastic to have Pogba in the team again. We missed him for two months and he had a big impact as soon as he came in.” said Solskjaer.
“We started the game very well, we played well and I think we were denied a penalty.”
“Milan recovered afterwards and we took a lot of risks. Milan is a fantastic team, Pogba made the difference. It was hard to be eliminated in the semifinals last season, now we want to win this tournament. I am satisfied, because we defeated one of the strongest teams.”
