Porto sends Juventus home with one player less after 120 minutes of play

Juventus along with Cristiano Ronaldo have been eliminated from the Champions League. Porto has managed to score the much sought after goals as guests that despite losing 3-2 in Turin and the overall score 4-4, managed to eliminate Juventus and qualify for the quarterfinals.

Juventus’ adventure for this edition of the Champions League ends.

The Old Lady was eliminated by Porto in the 1/8 finals.

Juve had to turn everything upside down in Turin and after 90 minutes of play, and with one more player on the field, after Mehdi Taremi was sent off with a red card in the 54th minute – he managed to do it by triumphing in regular time with the result 2- 1, to send the challenge to sequels.

Of course, with one more player on the field, most of the overtime was dominated by the locals, with good scoring chances, but they could not find the goal that would send them to the quarterfinals.

As long as Juve did not score, then when they least expected it, they suffered. Porto scored for 2-2 in the 115-th minute. It was Sergio Oliveira who realized for the guests.

This goal demoralized the Juve players who now had to score two quick goals to reach qualification.

Juve reacted immediately, Adrien Rabiot scored for 3-2 in the 117th minute, to bring the overall score to 4-4, but the value of the away goal was in favor of Porto and so, Juve was forced to say goodbye to the League of Champions.
