Ramos injured, will miss against Barca and Liverpool
Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos was injured during the training camp with the Spanish national team and as a result he is expected to miss against Barcelona in La Liga and against Liverpool in the Champions League.
Real Madrid announced that Ramos was injured while on duty with Spain.
“After tests performed today on captain Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid Medical Service, he was diagnosed with a muscle injury in the inside of the feather of his left foot,” Real Madrid said in a press release.
Ramos played just four minutes in Spain’s 3-1 win over Kosovo on Wednesday.
The Madrid club has not indicated that Ramos will be missing, but the nature of his injury suggests that he will be missing in the quarterfinals of the Champions League next week and against Barcelona on April 10.
