Mallorca midfielder Luca Romero has revealed details of a conversation he had with Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos when he made his La Liga debut as a 15-year-old last season.
Romero became the youngest player in La Liga history when he made his debut against Real Madrid in June.
He was 15 years and 219 days old when he broke the record.
And now Romero, who is described as the “Mexican Messi”, has shown how shocked Ramos was when he realized his age.
“As a kid, I always dreamed of playing against Real Madrid and Barcelona, so it was amazing to see them and be close to the players of these teams,” Romero told Goal.
“I spoke to Sergio Ramos. He asked me how old I was, and I told him 15. He was shocked.”
