Real wins in Bergamo, Man City with one foot in the quarterfinals

Real Madrid defeated Atalanta 1-0 in the first match, getting a big victory before the returning challenge at Di Stefano. Manchester City also won, beating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 and is one foot away in the quarterfinals.

With one more player on the field, Real Madrid has managed to get a big win in Italy, beating Atalanta 1-0.

The locals played from the 17th minute with one player less, after Remo Freuler was sent off with red, after an intervention in Ferland Mendy.

This affected Atalanta that most of the game, had to be defended from successive attacks of Real, even though for this match they did not have players like Hazard, Benzema, Ramos, Carvajal, etc.

After many attempts, Zinedine Zidane’s team managed to score that famous goal as guests in the Champions League, which is very valuable for the return match and in the end won 1-0.

Ferland Mendy was the one who secured the victory for Real with a super goal in the 86th minute.

The return challenge will take place in Alfredo Di Stefano on March 16th.

Tonight, Manchester City also won, defeating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 in the trip, to throw a foot towards the quarterfinals.

Bernardo Silva in the 29th minute and Gabriel Jesus in the 65th minute, scored for the clear victory of City.
