“Ronaldo and Messi can go to Mexico or MLS”

The president of the Mexican League, Mikel Arriola, has expressed the desire to have Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in his league, while he does not rule out the possibility that they may end their careers in Major League Soccer, in America.
Speaking to ESPN, Arriola said: “We would be the best league in the world (if they would join MLS)”, he said.
“The next step would be to have Messi or Ronaldo here (Mexico) or in America, maybe in the final stages of their careers.”
Both Messi and Ronaldo have made no secret of their desire to one day play in the MLS, while it is constantly reported that this could happen to David Backham’s team in Miami.
