Salah talks about Ramos’ first meeting since the Spaniard injured him
Salah talks about the enmity with Ramos before the meeting with him in the Champions League
Mohamed Salah has insisted he is fully focused on his team, not Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos, before meeting them in the Champions League quarter-finals next week.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah says he has left behind the problem with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
In the last meeting between them, in the final of the Champions League in 2018 in Kiev, Salah was forced to leave the field tearful early in the match, after Ramos had injured his arm after a severe intervention.
Prior to his first meeting with Ramos since then, Salah has said he is not thinking about the Madrid captain.
Asked if he is motivated to face Ramos again, Salah laughed and said: “That match is in the past, so I do not think about it. I’m thinking about my team. Everyone is focused on their team and everyone wants to win, that’s all.”
