Sampaoli is appointed coach of the great French team
Argentine coach Jorge Sampaoli is appointed to head the first team of Olympique Marseille.
The news was announced by the French club itself through a press release.
Sampaoli has signed a contract which will keep him in Marseille until 2023.
This is not the only change that has been made in Marseille. Pablo Longoria is appointed president of the French board of directors.
“Olympique de Marseille today is opening a new chapter in its great history,” the statement said.
Sampaoli was recently the coach of the Atletico Mineiro team, while in the past he has been the coach of Sevilla and the selector of Argentina.
