Suarez praises Haaland as one of the best strikers in the world
Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez after scoring his 500th career goal against Alavés on Sunday, he praised Erling Haaland as a brilliant player.
The former Barcelona star has stood out for Atletico Madrid this season, challenging critics from his time at Barcelona.
“He [Haaland] is a great player, he is on a spectacular level, he has an admirable physical strength,” Suarez told Gerard Romero on Twitch.
“He is one of the best No.9 in the world and will define an era. I am a little more in favor of Haaland, but Mbappe is at an excellent level,” said Suarez.
The former Liverpool striker has scored 19 goals in 25 games in LaLiga Santander for Diego Simeone’s team since leaving the Camp Nou in the summer.
