Suarez: When Barcelona told me they no longer count on me, I was shocked
Luis Suarez is back to talk about what happened last summer in Barcelona, ??where he was shown the door by the club that gave him so much for years and together with Leo Messi and Neymar won over 10 trophies.
Suarez has revealed how Ronald Koeman, the new Barcelona coach, told him he did not count on him, and the time when Barca made this official.
He is today part of Atletico Madrid, on the way to winning La Liga and the top scorer so far in Spain.
“When Barcelona told me they no longer count on me, it was very difficult, I did not expect it.” said Suarez.
“These were difficult moments for the way (how it happened). Koeman called me and told me I was not in his plans.”
“When Barca made it official that they do not count on me, talks started with Atletico, Cholo [Simeone], with Miguel Angel.”.
“There has been interest from many clubs, not just Juventus. “I wanted to make the right decision, the best for me and my family.”
