The high salary complicates Ronaldo’s future
Cristiano Ronaldo is playing his third season with the Juventus jersey and has one year left on his contract, but the high salary of the Portuguese and the economic difficulties caused by the pandemic, could lead to premature divorce.
The closure of the stadium stairs has significantly reduced the income for Juventus and the 31 million euros of the salary of the Portuguese striker, which go much more in gross value, weigh a lot on the coffers of the whites and blacks.
There is no lack of interest for Ronaldo, either from European or American clubs, with Inter Miami ready to “wash in gold” the Portuguese and pay a satisfactory figure to Juve for his card.
On the other hand, Paratici is working to bring back to Italy the Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who after the bitter divorce with Inter, welcomes a transfer to the “old lady” for a kind of revenge against the Nerazzurri.
PSG paid a total of 58 million euros for the card of the Argentine footballer, while Juventus can take him on loan with the right to buy for a figure of about 50 million euros, divided into installments over several years.
In terms of spending cuts, even midfielders Rabiot and Ramsey, who came to Turin with zero parameters, are on the list of those to be sacrificed this summer, as they have quite high salaries.
Moreover, neither of them is an undisputed starter and the whites are trying to bring Locatelli closer to Sassuolo for the midfield, so the departure of Ramsey and Rabiot would be an operation with a lot of benefits for the club.
